Hamburger Casserole

My family loves this easy, one-dish recipe.  Best of all, it tastes even better left over, so you can make it ahead of time and warm it up when you're ready to eat!
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. Lipton Spanish rice
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1/2 lb. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • tortilla chips, crushed
  1. Brown beef and drain; while it is cooking, prepare Spanish rice according to package directions.  (OK, it's a two dish recipe.)
  2. In a large skillet, mix beef, rice, beans, soup, and 1/2 of the shredded cheese.
  3. Top with crushed tortilla chips and the remaining cheese.
  4. Cook until heated through and cheese on top is melted.

This sounds good ...Almost uses the same elements in my yummy burritos I may have to try this one
