This recipe is quick, easy, and delicious! It's perfect for dessert...or a yummy, sweet breakfast.
• 2 8-ct cans of dinner crescent rolls
• 2 sticks butter
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 2 8-oz pkgs cream cheese
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with non-stick spray.
2. Unroll 1 can of crescent rolls and place on the bottom of the pan.
3. Mix cream cheese, 1 stick butter, 1 c. sugar, and all the vanilla and spread on top of crescent rolls.
4. Roll out second can of crescent rolls and place on top of cream cheese filling.
5. Pour 1 stick melted butter over the top layer.
6. Sprinkle 1/2 c. sugar and the cinnamon over the melted butter.
7. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

Oh thanks for posting this!!! I LOVE these things and no Mexican restaurants in my are make them like this.. now they're all covered with chocolate and fried (which is still yummy lol)

Oh my goodness this sounds GOOD! We make regular sopapillas all the time. We have actually stopped going to our favorite Mexican place because we can make them just as good as they do at home...lol!
